Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a battery storage device for a vehicle. The battery storage device is provided with: a battery case (42) for storing a battery (62A, 62B); a locking mechanism (133) thatcan fix and hold the stored battery (62A, 62B) to the battery case (42); and an operation member (44) that can switch the locking mechanism (133) between a battery fixed state and a battery unfixed state. The locking mechanism (133) is provided with a movable block (160) that is supported by the battery case (42) so as to be displaceable. The movable block (160) has battery restriction parts (160b, 160c) that restrict displacement of the battery (62A, 62B) in a separation direction in a state where the movable block is displaced to a battery fixing position, and a holding force reception part(160d) that receives a holding force from the operation member (44) for maintaining the movable block (160) at the battery fixing position in a state where the operation member (44) is operated within a prescribed position ra
