The method is mainly applied to medium-thick plate production lines. The method comprises the specific technological process that steel plates with the thickness being 6-80 mm obtained after finish rolling are conveyedto a post-rolling cooling area by a conveying roller bed, the steel plates at the temperature of 720-900 DEG C are rapidly cooled to 250-600 DEG C, and after cooling is completed, the steel plates pass through a straightening machine and are conveyed to a cooling bed.
