Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for the substantially nickel-free phosphating of a metal surface, in which a metal surface is treated with the following compositions one after the other: i)with an alkaline, aqueous cleaning agent composition, which contains at least a water-soluble silicate, and ii) with an acidic, aqueous, substantially nickel-free phosphating composition, which comprises zinc ions, manganese ions and phosphate ions.
