PMI foam with high elongation at break and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses PMI foam with high elongation at break and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) uniformly mixing 30-70 parts by weight of methacrylonitrile, 30-70 parts by weight of methacrylic acid and related aids, and stirring the materials for dissolving, (2) adding modified nanoparticles into the reaction solution, and dispersing thesolution at a high speed, (3) injecting the reaction dispersion liquid into a mold, and carrying out a reaction process to obtain a polymer plate, and (4) heating and foaming the polymer plate to obtain a PMI foam plate with high elongation at break.
