Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a mechanical arm, in particular to a rope drive type continuous flexible mechanical arm which comprises arm units, connecting rod mechanisms and a drive rope. A base plate isarranged at the tail end of each arm unit. A connecting plate is arranged on the middle portion of each base plate. All the arm units are sequentially connected in a head-to-end manner. The head end of each arm unit is hinged to the connecting plate on the base plate at the tail end of the adjacent arm unit. The base plate at the tail end of each arm unit and the base plate at the tail end of theadjacent arm unit are connected through the connecting rod mechanisms. A guide wheel is arranged at each angle end of each connecting rod mechanism. After the drive rope is wound around the guide wheels on all the connecting rod mechanisms of the corresponding sides in a Z-type reciprocating manner, the tail end of the drive rope is fixed to the guide wheel at the furthest end.
