METHOD FOR SPREADING AND SEPARATING A FILAMENT BUNDLE, AND MELT SPINNING DEVICE

The invention relates to a method and a device for spreading and separating a filament bundle in a melt spinning process. During the melt spinning, a plurality of filaments are produced using multiplespinning nozzles and guided through multiple collecting filament guides below the spinning nozzles. The filaments are received and guided in the form of a filament bundle by a suction injector and the filaments are spread with a predetermined filament separation in a separating filament guide having a plurality of guide means. This spreading of the individual filaments in the guide means requiresa very accurate guidance of the suction injector and generally manual finishing by a machine operator, which introduced incorrectly positioned filaments into the associated guide means. The inventionovercomes these shortcomings by guiding the filaments with the suction injector along a convergence edge so as to form a filament convergence prior to the spreading at the separating filament guide.The separating filament guid
