An embodiment of the present invention provides an optical sensor and a method of forming the same, the optical sensor comprising: a pixel in a substrate; the light collimation layer is located on thesubstrate and comprises a light-transmitting layer, and the light-transmitting layer is located on the substrate in a blanket covering mode and covers the areas between the pixels; the shading layeris positioned above the light-transmitting layer and between the light-transmitting columns; and the light-transmitting columns penetrate through the shading layer and are correspondingly arranged onthe pixels.
