The invention provides an ice maker. The ice maker suppresses overflow of water supplied to an ice making tray from a water path provided in a frame from the ice making tray. Water from a water supplypipe (2) in an ice maker (1) is injected into a water receiving part (26) protruding outwards from an ice making tray (5) through a water passing opening (64) formed in a frame (7). The frame (7) isprovided with a first water passage section (61) intersecting the direction of the axis (L), and the water passage opening (64) is provided in a side surface (61b) of the first water passage section (61) on the ice tray (5) side. The frame (7) is provided with a protruding section (58) that functions as a water blocking section at a position on the upstream side of the water passage opening (64) and along the side surface (61b) where the water passage opening (64) is provided.
