The invention discloses a transformer substation tripping and closing loop monitoring and early warning system and method. The transformer substation tripping and closing loop monitoring and early warning system comprises a sensor module, a data conversion device, an acquisition unit and a management unit, the sensor module is used for collecting tripping and closing loop current, direct-current power supply loop current and temperature and humidity data and converging the data to the management unit step by step through the data conversion device and the collection unit, and the management unit is used for executing monitoring and early warning. Sensor modules are installed in tripping and closing loops and power supply loops of all intervals of a transformer substation to collect tripping and closing loop monitoring currents and power supply loop monitoring currents. The data conversion device converts the signals into SV signals and GOOSE signals and transmits the SV signals and theGOOSE signals to the acq
