The invention discloses a method and a system for standardizing medical industry data. The method comprises the steps of performing natural language processing on to-be-standardized data based on a medical industry corpus; determining whether a unique matching relationship exists between the processed to-be-standardized data and standard data or not; in response to the fact that the processed to-be-standardized data does not have a unique matching relationship with the standard data, respectively calculating a similarity value between one piece of processed to-be-standardized data and each piece of standard data; in response to determining that the one or more similarity values are higher than a first threshold, taking the corresponding one or more standard data as to-be-calibrated standard data matched with the to-be-calibrated data; and in response to determining that the one or more similarity values are lower than a second threshold, determining that standard data matched with theto-be-standardized data d
