Zusammenfassung:A gripping mechanism includes inclined surfaces, a rotating body, and an opposing gripping portion. The inclined surfaces are inclined relative to the vertical direction. The rotating body can freelyrotate on the inclined surfaces along the inclined up-down direction. The opposing gripping portions are disposed facing the inclined surface, and an open space narrower than the diameter of the rotating body is formed between the lower ends of the inclined surfaces. The rotating body is provided with: a core member which is the core of the rotating body; an annular member provided around the coremember and having elasticity; and a plurality of ribs interposed between the outer periphery of the core member and the inner periphery of the annular member. A gap is formed between the core memberand the annular member.
