The invention provides a cold iron extraction mechanism and a working method thereof. The cold iron extraction mechanism includes: a core assembly plate connected to the outer side surface of a bottomplate core; and a fixed plate disposed outside the core assembly plate and detachably connected to the core assembly plate. Cold iron is disposed on the inner side surface of the fixed plate. A coreplate through hole is disposed on the core assembly plate for the cold iron to pass through. A bottom plate through hole corresponding to the core plate through hole is disposed on the bottom plate core. The bottom plate through hole is used for the cold iron to pass through. In the present invention, the cold iron is disposed on the fixed plate outside the core assembly plate, and then the bottomplate core is placed to form a low-pressure sand bag for pouring.
