The present invention relates to a fastening insert made of plastic and having a T-shaped configuration consisting of a washer insert 10 and a hollow cylindrical shaft 40 fastened to said washer insert. The washer insert has a plurality of eccentric through-openings, at least one of which has an edge projection running around its entire periphery or part of its periphery, said projection being inthe form of teeth 18 and extending, on one or both sides, beyond the respective fastening side of said washer insert. The teeth allow the fastening insert to be additionally interlocked with or secured in a composite material which is preferably fibre reinforced.
