Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an electric storage device (10) for providing electric energy for a charging operation of at least one electrically-driven motor vehicle (12). The storage device has: a storage unit (15) for storing the energy, a cooling assembly (27) for providing cooling capacity and a coolant circuit (28) which is designed to convey thermal energy from the storage unit (15) to the cooling assembly (27) by means of a coolant (26).
