Disclosed are an engineering system capable of analyzing light in various positions in chambers by using a switch module and one spectrometer, a switch module used for the same, and a method for controlling the engineering system. The switch module includes a plurality of connection portions, a switch portion, and a driving portion. Here, each connection portion is connected to a first optical line, the switch portion is connected to a second optical line. The switch portion is arranged to match an optical path with one of the connection portions. In accordance with the driving of the drivingportion, the switch portion is moved to match the optical path with another connection portion, and light inputted from a corresponding chamber through the first optical line connected to the connection portion matching the optical path with the switch portion is transmitted to the second optical path connected with the switch portion.
