Method for processing video stream based on cooperation of terminal device and edge server

The invention discloses a method for processing a video stream based on cooperation of a terminal device and an edge server. The method comprises: dividing the video stream processing into three stages of data preprocessing, deep neural network reasoning and result processing; dividing calculation tasks of the terminal device into a data preprocessing TP, a data transmission TD _ t, a neural network reasoning TI, a result receiving TR _ r and a result processing TF; dividing calculation tasks of the edge server into data receiving ED _ r and deep neural network reasoning EI, and result transmition ER _ t; the video preprocessing adopting a streamlined mode to perform task scheduling, the terminal device executing calculation tasks according to task priorities and idle states, and the edgeserver also executing the calculation tasks according to the sequence of the task priorities; wherein the priorities of tasks undertaken by the terminal devices are ranked from high to low as follows:TR _ r > TD _ t > TF > TP
