Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a device and a production process for removing impurities in magnesium during reduction production of sponge titanium. The device is composed of a reactor, a sealing gasket, alarge cover, a pressure exhaust pipe, a rubber plug, a material adding pipe, a magnesium chloride pipe and a sieve plate. The process comprises the following steps that argon is introduced from the magnesium chloride pipe, the argon reaches the bottom of the sieve plate through the magnesium chloride pipe, argon stirring is performed on liquid magnesium from a plurality of holes of the sieve plate; meanwhile, titanium tetrachloride is added from the material adding pipe to react with the liquid magnesium to generate titanium particles, and the titanium particles adsorb the impurities in the liquid magnesium to precipitate to the bottom of the reactor; the rubber plug is opened, after maintaining for 5-20 minutes is performed, material adding and argon filling are stopped, and the rubber plug is used for plugging;
