A wastewater treatment process by using the chitosan-coated calcium alginate bacterial beads comprises a step that wastewater inflow is subjected to biotreatment in abioreactor for 5-8 hours, and further can comprise a step that the chitosan-coated calcium alginate bacterial beadsare pre-cultured in the wastewater inflow for 6-12 hours, the wastewater treatment process is capable of being carried out with optimized parameters, wherein fresh wastewater inflow is supplied to the bioreactor by 65-75 v/v%, and a carbon source is supplied by per 2-4 hours; an airpump is used for inflation, and the temperature is maintained at 30-40 DEG C.
