The resin-based iron oxide-supported composite phosphorus removal adsorbent is prepared through one-step in-situ hydrolysis precipitation by taking strongly basic anion exchange resin a parent body and potassium ferrate as an iron source and using the characteristic that ferrate radical ions are extremely easily adsorbed on the surface of anion resin. Compared with an existing preparation method, the preparation method of the invention has the advantages of simple preparation process, short time period and low production cost.
