The invention relates to a high-overload-resistant electric steering engine rudder surface folding and unfolding mechanism as well as a use method thereof. The folding and unfolding mechanism is embedded and arranged on a steering engine shell; the steering engine shell is fixedly connected with a pin puller and a spring bracket; the spring bracket is positioned below a rudder shaft; an auxiliaryunlocking pin and an auxiliary unlocking spring are arranged in mounting holes of the spring bracket; and when the rudder surface is folded, the rudder surface is contacted with the auxiliary unlocking pin through a notch of the spring bracket, the rudder surface is hinged on the rudder shaft through a rotating shaft pin, and the step surface of an unlocking pin is contacted with the end face of an unlocking spring.
