The method is applied to the electronic device, and the method comprises: whenit is detected that the ambient brightness reaches the preset brightness, controlling a camera to shoot to obtain a target image; according to the target image, obtaining the current light sensitivity of a camera; determining a target attenuation coefficient according to the current sensitivity and a preset sensitivity, the preset sensitivity being the sensitivity of a camera under preset brightness in an initial state; and under the condition that the target attenuation coefficient is smaller than a preset attenuation threshold, adjusting the power supply voltage of a camera photosensitive unit according to the target attenuation coefficient. According to the method, the power supply voltage of the photosensitive unit of the camera is adjusted according to the current sensitivity of thecamera and the sensitivity
