The invention provides a cleaning device for an oil storage tank. The cleaning device comprises an oil storage tank body, compression devices, a connection plate, connection devices, a threaded rod, arotary motor, a water storage tank and a cleaning assembly. The two first compression devices are symmetrically arranged at the top end of the side wall of the oil storage tank body. The connection plate is fixedly connected between the two first compression devices. The upper portion of the connection plate is slidably connected with the threaded rod through the connection devices. One end of the threaded rod is connected with the one first compression device. The other end of the threaded rod penetrates through the other first compression device and is connected with the output end of the rotary motor. The lower portion of the connection plate is connected with the water storage tank.
