Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a controller for an injection molding machine, which comprises: at least one input for an input signal of at least one sensor, wherein the sensor is used for measuring a changecurve of at least one process parameter of an injection molding process of the injection molding machine; a computing unit, wherein the input signal transmitted via the at least one input can be transmitted to the computing unit; an output, wherein a setpoint value signal for a setpoint value curve of a mold clamping force of at least one actuator of the injection molding machine can be output viathe output via the computing unit, the computing unit is configured to determine a change curve of an expansion force of a melt injected into a mold of the injection molding machine in reaction to amold clamping force from a change curve of at least one process parameter transmitted by an input signal. The computing unit is configured to calculate a setpoint value curve of the mold clamping force and to output a setpoint
