The present invention relates to a method for determining a particle concentration value relating to the concentration of particles (6) in a fluid flow (7), wherein the fluid flow (7) is conducted through a measuring volume (8), wherein a first measurement value which depends on the particle concentration in the measuring volume (8) is measured by a sensor device (9), and wherein the particle concentration value is calculated according to the first measurement value and a correction value.
