The invention relates to a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a selector switch thereof. The selector switch comprises at least two groups of conductive sliding blocks, wherein each conductive sliding block is used for being conductively connected with windings with different turns in a stator winding, and an insulating sliding block is arranged between every two adjacent groups of conductivesliding blocks, so that a closed annular structure is defined by the insulating sliding blocks and the conductive sliding blocks; the selector switch also comprises a carbon brush that can rotate around the center of the annular structure so as to be in contact with the conductive sliding blocks successively, and a driving mechanism that is provided with a controller and can drive the carbon brushto rotate according to the rotating speed of the motor, so that the carbon brush is in conductive contact with the conductive sliding blocks successively.
