The invention discloses a plate clamping device on a stamping die. The plate clamping device comprises a base locked on a die holder through a screw, a material sheet pressing arm hinged to one end ofthe base, a pressing arm pitching driving cylinder hinged to the other end of the base, and a linkage joint between the cylinder and the pressing arm, wherein the material sheet pressing arm consistsof a straight pressing section and a torque input section bent out of the straight section; the pressing arm is hinged to the base through a hinge shaft hole in the end part of the torque input section; a torque input pin shaft is fixed at the joint of the torque input section and the pressing section; one end of the linkage joint is in movable fit connection with the pin shaft through a shaft hole or a notch of which the bottom end is provided with a 1/2 cylindrical hole surface; and the other end of the linkage joint is fixedly connected to the telescopic end of the cylinder.
