Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an additive for wood plastics, which enables the production of a wood plastic having excellent water resistance and strength. The present invention is an additive for wood plastics, whichcontains a phenolic resin, wherein the phenolic resin has a mass average molecular weight of 8,000 to 30,000 inclusive. It is preferred that the phenolic resin is a resol-type phenolic resin. It is preferred that the phenolic resin is a solid resol-type phenolic resin. It is preferred that the phenolic resin is a methylol resol-type phenolic resin, a dimethylene ether resol-type phenolic resin, amixture of a methylol resol-type phenolic resin and an ammonia resol-type phenolic resin, or a combination thereof. 本发明提供一种可获得耐水性及强度优异的木塑的木塑用添加剂。本发明为一种木塑用添加剂，含有酚醛树脂，所述酚醛树脂的重均分子量为8,000以上且30,000以下。所述酚醛树脂优选为可溶(型)酚醛树脂。所述酚醛树脂优选为固体可溶(型)酚醛树脂。所述酚醛树脂优选为羟甲基可溶(型)酚醛树脂、二亚甲基醚可溶(型)酚醛树脂、羟甲基可溶(型)酚醛树脂与氨可溶(型)酚醛树脂的混合物或这些的组合。
