The invention provides a cable wear test platform and a test method. The cable wear test platform comprises a workbench and a test wheel disc located on the workbench. The test wheel disc is used forwinding a to-be-tested cable. The cable wear test platform further comprises a driving mechanism. The two ends of the cable are fixed on the driving mechanism, and the cable is wound on the test wheeldisc in a tensioning manner; and the penetrating-out and penetrating-in directions of the cable are parallel to each other. The test wheel disc is arranged on the workbench in a sliding manner, so that the distance between the test wheel disc and the driving mechanism is increased or decreased; during testing, the driving mechanism is used for applying a pulling force in the axial direction of the cable to one end of the cable in a reciprocating mode.
