The invention discloses a method and system for determining a cracking density of a fracture zone. The method comprises the steps that a field logging curve is obtained at first; a sensitive logging curve is determined according to the logging curve; secondly, a cracking fusion curve is determined according to the sensitive logging curve by a logging curve fusion technology; thirdly, a layer section of the fracture zone is determined according to the cracking fusion curve by a discrete wavelet transform method; then a cracking density relation expression for the layer section of the fracture zone is established according to imaging logging data of standard drilling and the sensitive logging curve; and in the end, the cracking density of the to-be-detected drilling fracture zone is determined according to the cracking density relation expression.
