The invention relates to a 3D model naming method and system based on an equipment digital twin, and the method comprises the steps: building a table with part attributes in a server, wherein each part attribute corresponds to a unique graph number; establishing and storing a 3D model of the equipment digital twin in the server, wherein each part of the equipment digital twin corresponds to the part attribute in the table; accessing the server by using the client and extracting a code of each part in the equipment digital twin, wherein the code of the part comprises three-dimensional space coordinates of the part; combining the graph number of the part attribute in the table corresponding to the part with the extracted part code to form a new code, and storing the new code in the server, wherein the code is in one-to-one correspondence with the part in the actual equipment.
