The invention discloses a vibration detector based on air compressor running. An inner cavity of a water tank is provided with a floating tank; a top cover is fixed at the top of the water tank; the top of a first slide block is connected with a movable plate through a first spring; a clamp plate is fixed at one side of a second slide block; internal thread sleeves are uniformly fixed outside theclamp plate; and a vibration detector body, a probe of which is connected with the outer side of the movable plate in an attaching manner, is fixed at one side of a slide plate. The vibration detectorraises the floating tank through buoyant force of water in the water tank, improving detection accuracy; support legs of an air compressor can be limited through insertion columns, so that the air compressor is prevented from moving during running and is fixed at a faster speed; under push force of a six spring, the slide plate drives the vibration detector body to move along a first chute, so that the probe of the vibrat
