The invention provides an automatic charging device for a vehicle. The automatic charging device for the vehicle comprises a charging bench seat, wherein a pressure-bearing drive piece and an electrode mounting frame which are capable of moving in the up-down direction are arranged on the charging bench seat. The pressure-bearing drive piece and the electrode mounting frame are connected through atransmission mechanism, and accordingly the pressure-bearing drive piece is pressed down by a vehicle wheel when the vehicle is located on a charging site so as to drive a charging electrode on the electrode mounting frame to move up and combine with a power-receiving electrode on the vehicle. A reset part which drives the electrode mounting frame to move downwards and break away from the power-receiving electrode after the vehicle runs away from the charging site is further arranged on the charging bench seat.
