Plug assembly and charging gun

The invention relates to a plug assembly and a charging gun. The plug assembly comprises a plug and a converter which matches the plug. The plug is provided with a control circuit for controlling power conversion. The control circuit comprises a break. The break is arranged on the mating surface side of the plug. A shorting conductor is arranged on one side, which matches the mating surface of theplug, of the converter. The shorting conductor is used to be communicated with the break of the control circuit when the converter is arranged on the plug. The break can only be communicated throughthe shorting conductor. The break of the control circuit is not communicated due to foreign objects, which avoids safety accidents caused by the misconnection of the break of the control circuit. In addition, the break is prevented from the risk of failures caused by repeated use, and charging current can be effectively controlled. The problem that a charging device is damaged or the charging efficiency is reduced, which i
