The embodiment of the invention provides a printer configuration method, a printer configuration device, electronic equipment and a readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: monitoring a first printing request according to a monitoring function injected into a printing call system, and enabling the monitoring function to be packaged into a dynamic link library file in advance; in response to the first printing request, obtaining a printing function called by the first printing request and parameters input when the printing function is called; and determining printer configuration information according to the printing function and parameters input when the printing function is called. According to the method, the monitoring function can be injected into the printingcalling system, such as a cashier system, so that the printing configuration information can be obtained from the monitored information, a printer does not need to be manually configured, the configuration efficiency is impr
