Zusammenfassung: | Systems and methods for controlling actuator drive signals for improving transient response characteristics are disclosed. One illustrative system described herein includes: an actuator configured tooutput a haptic effect, the actuator comprising one or more rated characteristics; a sensor configured to monitor at least one of a position, a mass, a voltage, a back electromotive force, or a current of the actuator; and a processor configured to: output a first drive signal to the actuator, the first drive signal comprising a first characteristic higher than one or more of the rated characteristics; and output a second drive signal to the actuator based on data received from the sensor.
