AN APPARATUS FOR DETECTING FIRE AND PREVENTING EXPLOSION OF TRANSFORMER AND A METHOD THEREOF

The present disclosure provides an apparatus for detecting fire and preventing explosion of a transformer. The apparatus comprises at least one voltage variation detection unit and an over current detection unit for providing first and second input signal to at least one control unit. Also, at least one surge detection unit and at least one Rapid Pressure Rise Relay is provisioned in the apparatus, to provide a third input signal the control unit. One or more circuit breakers are configured to provide a fourth input signal to the control unit.
