The invention relates to a method for operating a combustion engine (10) having a supercharger (11) comprising a turbine (12) and a compressor (13) and having a device for exhaust gas recirculation, wherein, during exhaust gas recirculation, exhaust gas discharged by the combustion engine flows through the turbine (12), mixes with air downstream of the turbine (12), and is supplied (41) to the compressor (13).
