Zusammenfassung: | A welding power supply device is provided with an inverter circuit which converts direct-current power into alternating-current power and outputs the alternating-current power to a welding load, and avoltage superimposing circuit which superimposes a re-firing voltage on the output to the welding load when the polarity of the output current from the inverter circuit is switched. The voltage superimposing circuit is provided with: a re-firing capacitor which is charged with the re-firing voltage; a charge circuit for charging the re-firing capacitor with the re-firing voltage; and a dischargecircuit for discharging the re-firing voltage with which the re-firing capacitor has been charged. The charge circuit is provided with a direct-current power supply which outputs a direct-current voltage, and a boost means for boosting the direct-current voltage from the direct-current power supply.
