The segmented open-stope method comprises the steps: ore blocks are divided along the strike of ore bodies, the ore blocks are divided into benches and segments, thick rock covering layers are formed at the top ends of the ore blocks before mining, then upward fan-shaped blast holes are constructed in segmented rock drilling roadways, and blasting is conducted through a millisecond short delay; after ore of each segment is broken down, one third of the ore is recovered firstly, the rest of the ore ismassively and uniformly removed at the last segment in a unified mode after all the segments are subjected to ore breaking-down, that is, before massive ore removal, the whole ore blocks are filled with the broken-down ore all the time, the former segment should be ahead of the next segment by the distance of 30 m or above to form bench mining, and after stoping of each segment is completed, segmented rock drilling roadwa
