Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a volume reduction method for biological remains. The volume reduction method is mainly used for carrying out high-temperature melting and cooling treatment on biological remains or bone ashes and bones of human beings or animals. The method comprises the following steps: putting biological remains or bone ash and bones containing mineral components into a high-temperaturesmelting furnace and carrying out high-temperature smelting; the biological remains are melted into liquid molten slurry due to high temperature, the molten slurry is subjected to different cooling treatment technologies to obtain amorphous and vitreous cured materials, and the volume of the obtained cured materials can be reduced by about 20-75% compared with the volume of bone ash obtained after the biological remains are sintered.
