The method comprises the steps of determining an oil and gas reserve historical curve according to exploration historical data of an oil and gas block; determining inflection points of the oil and gas reserve historical curve; dividing the oil and gas reserve history curve into a plurality ofyear sections according to a time sequence by utilizing inflection points; determining rough boundaries of different exploration degrees according to the year segments; determining an accurate boundary of the exploration degree stage according to the rough boundary and the adjacent minimum newly-added reserve year; performing feature representation on the divided exploration degree stages to obtain an exploration degree model; and utilizing the exploration degree model to predict the exploration degree of the oil and gas block.
