Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method and system for allocating suppliers to purchasing orders. The method comprises the steps: determining order shortage details of a target material according to total demand information and effective inventory information of the target material, wherein the total demand information comprises total demand quantity and storage location inventory information, and the order shortage details comprise order numbers, storage locations and material shortage quantity; and for the order shortage details, automatically allocating orders to a plurality of suppliers by utilizing a difference compensation algorithm. Through the method and system, suppliers, the number and the storage locations are automatically distributed through a difference compensation algorithm according to the storage locations and the number of material shortage, and the purposes of reducing the deviation between the actual delivery proportion and the supply source proportion, meeting the production requirement in time
