The determination method adopts an HPLC method, and the chlorogenic acid is taken as an internal reference substance so as to establish a relative correction factor with the caffeic acid and the 4-methoxysalicylaldehyde. The relative correction factor is used to calculate the contents of the caffeic acid and the 4-methoxysalicylaldehyde in the streptocaulon griffithii hook.
