Trifluoroethoxyl-containing liquid crystal compound and composition thereof

The invention discloses a liquid crystal compound with a high average dielectric constant and a liquid crystal composition containing a general formula (1). The liquid crystal compound is characterized by having a structure as shown in the general formula (1), wherein R is straight-chain alkyl or alkoxy with 1-9 carbons and alkenyl with 2-7 carbons; a ring A is trans-cyclohexanyl and cyclohexenyl,and hydrogen atoms on a benzene ring can be substituted by one or more fluorine atoms; n and m is equal to 0, 1 and 2; and X1 and X2 are hydrogen atoms or fluorine atoms.
