Book sorting robot and book sorting method

The invention provides a book sorting robot and a book sorting method. The book sorting robot comprises a sorting inlet, multiple sorting outlets, a book recognition assembly, a book conveying assembly and a control box. Books to be sorted are put into the book sorting robot through the sorting inlet. The different sorting outlets correspond to the different classes of books, and at least two sorting outlets are located at different heights. The book recognition assembly is arranged in the sorting inlet and used for acquiring the class information of the books to be sorted. The control box isconnected with the book recognition assembly and the book conveying assembly and used for controlling the book conveying assembly to run according to the class information of the books to be sorted.
