The present invention provides a paper that has both the rough feel of the rough surface and the softness of the paper. The paper of the present invention contains natural fibers, non-olefin-based chemical fibers having a fiber diameter of more than 5.0 [mu]m and olefin-based synthetic fibers. The fiber structure of the non-olefin-based chemical fibers has an inflection point of 2 or more. It is preferable that the non-olefin-based chemical fibers are contained in the paper at a ratio of 10 to 40% by mass or the olefin-based synthetic fibers are contained at a ratio of 10 to 40% by mass with respect to all the fibers contained in paper.
