The invention provides an intelligent escalator. The intelligent escalator comprises an escalator body, a speed measuring sensor, pressure sensors, a microprocessor and a power supply unit, wherein the escalator body comprises an entrance comb plate arranged at an escalator entrance, a tensioning device arranged below the entrance comb plate, an exit comb plate arranged at an escalator exit, a driving device arranged below the exit comb plate, a step guide rail arranged between the escalator entrance and the escalator exit, a traction chain arranged on the step guide rail, a plurality of stepsarranged on the traction chain, side plates arranged on the two sides of the steps, baffle plates arranged on the side plates and handrails arranged on the baffle plates; the speed measuring sensor is arranged at a driving motor of the driving device and used for measuring the rotating speed of the motor to obtain the running speed of the escalator and generating a speed signal; the pressure sensors are arranged at the p
