The invention provides a pump hydraulic testing system and testing method. The testing system comprises a high-voltage starting subsystem, a motor drive subsystem, a high-pressure storing box subsystem, a technology pipeline subsystem and a measurement and control subsystem. The high-voltage starting subsystem is connected with the motor drive subsystem, and used for providing power for the motordrive subsystem, and thus the rotating speed of the motor drive subsystem can be adjusted. The motor drive subsystem is used for providing rotating drive force for a pump. The pump is connected with the high-pressure storing box subsystem through the technology pipeline subsystem. The high-pressure storing box subsystem is used for providing a water source and adjusting pressure of pure water of apump inlet.
