Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for producing spherical polysilsequioxane particles, in which, in a first step, trialkoxysilane T, which contains trialkoxysilanes of general formula (I): RSi (OR1) 3 , in which R means a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 16 carbon atoms, the carbon chain of which can be interrupted by non-adjacent -O- groups and a C1 to C4 alkyl radical, and also contains chlorine compounds, is reacted with acidified water having a pH of at most 6 with mixing to form a hydrolysate; in a second step, the pH of the hydrolysate is adjusted to a value of 1 to 6; in a third step, the hydrolysate is mixed with a solution of a base in water or C1 to C4 alkanol; and in a fourth step, the mixture is left to stand for at least 2 h before the polysilsequioxane particles are isolated.
