The drag reducer comprises the following raw materials, by mass percent: 15-25% of acrylamide, 3-5% of polyvinylpyrrolidone, 5-10% of 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, 15-20% of acrylic acid, 1-3% of ammonium sulfate, 2-6% of sodium hydroxide, 1-3% of calcium chloride, 11-14% of an emulsifier, 5-7% of an oil-phase solvent, 5-7% of a gel breaker, and 10-40% of deionized water. The preparation method of the invention strictly controls the proportion of the components of the anti-high salt drag reducer and preparation process parameters, adopts the acrylamide, polyvinylpyrrolidone, 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, acrylic acid, ammonium sulfate, sodium hydroxide calcium chloride, emulsifier, oil-phase solvent, gel breaker and deionized water as the raw materials of the preparation, and controls the mass percent of the amount of the emulsifier to be 11-14%.
